Wooder Ice Summer Soirée: A festive celebration of Franklin Frost Beer Launch at Stratus Rooftop Lounge.
My Local Brew Works (MLBW) and Philly’s “Wooder Ice” are joining forces to host an exciting summer-themed event called Wooder Ice Summer Soirée. At Stratus Rooftop Lounge on Thursday, June 8, from 6 pm to 8 pm, this lively happy hour will mark the launch of their collaborative beer, Franklin Frost, and support the non-profit organization Broad Street Ministry.
The Wooder Ice Summer Soirée promises a fun-filled evening with live entertainment, delicious beer, food pairings, tastings, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the limited-edition Franklin Frost craft beer, created through the unique brewing style of MLBW, known for their ability to produce different beer styles from a single original mash. Franklin Frost comes in three seasonal varieties: Dry-Hopped, Mango, and Passionfruit, each capturing the refreshing flavors reminiscent of summertime water ice.
With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 6%, Franklin Frost is an American Wheat Beer designed to showcase the expertise and customization capabilities of MLBW. Not available for purchase, this highly-anticipated beer will be raffled off at the Wooder Ice Summer Soirée. Attendees can sample Franklin Frost and potentially take home a case of this limited brew, available for one season only.
Every event ticket includes one raffle entry. Additional entries can be purchased on-site. The grand prize winner will receive a case of Franklin Frost, while second-place winners will receive a twelve-pack, and multiple third-place winners will take home a six-pack containing two bottles of each Franklin Frost flavor.
MLBW and Wooder Ice are donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and the raffle Broad Street Ministry. This organization is dedicated to providing social and partner services to those in need, aiming to improve the quality of life for Philadelphia’s residents through radical hospitality.
General admission tickets for the Wooder Ice Summer Soirée are $25, including a commemorative tasting cup, three drink tickets (one for each Franklin Frost variety), one raffle ticket, and swag from My Local Brew Works and Wooder Ice. Guests will also enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Stratus Rooftop Lounge and lively music by DJ Jovi. A limited quantity of VIP tickets is available for $40, offering all the benefits of general admission plus a six-pack of Franklin Frost featuring two bottles of each variety.
