Join Stratus in collaboration with Sisterly Love Collective on Wednesday, March 22 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm with hosts Chef Kiki Aranita of Poi Dog and Chef Olga Sorzano of Baba’s Bucha and Baba’s Acid Trip.
The upcoming Women’s Way Wednesdays at Stratus Rooftop Lounge features fares from Aranita and Sorzano who have created an exquisite menu. Chef Kiki Aranita has prepared the following dishes: Oxtail Adobo that is cooked with Baba’s Acid Trip Raspberry Lime vinegar, Poi Dog Guava Katsu sauce, and garlic over a bed of rice, topped off with a mussel; Tequila Lobster and Corn Seaweed Soup finished with a splash of Baba’s Acid Trip Grapefruit Vinegar; and lastly, UFO Musubi featuring Lebanon bologna set atop plenty of Baba’s Acid Trip kombucha sushi rice sprinkled in furikake accented by Poi Dog Chili Peppah Water.
Let Chef Olga Sorzano take you on a delicious culinary journey with her Slow-Roasted Pulled Pork glazed in the signature Poi Dog Katsu BBQ Sauce and accented by pineapple salsa marinated in Baba’s Acid Trip Pear-Ginger vinegar. The Lamb Kebab is spiced up with Poi Dog Chili Peppah Water, and sumac topped off with raspberry lime vinegar-marinated onions from Baba’s Acid Trip range of vinegars. For dessert don’t miss out on Revani Turkish Style Semolina Cake steeped overnight in simple syrup made from none other than Baba’s renowned Grapefruit Vinegar. And to top it all off, indulge yourself into an exquisite Raspberry Tequila Sunrise cocktail dressed up for success thanks to some drops of those tantalizingly sweet and sour notes provided by Baba’s Acid Trip Raspberry Lime Vinegar!
Guests can also expect to indulge in an array of delicious pastries and baked goods from the renowned Kouklet Brazilian Bakehouse on East Passyunk Avenue. Enriching the night will be the vocal stylings of Tanqueray Hayward.
March 29th marks the final installment in the series of Women’s Way Wednesdays with an enticing meal prepared by Chef Thanh Nguyen of Gabriella’s Vietnam and live music from Andrea Nardello.
