In true Philly fashion, Yards Brewing Company has released its Trash Talk IPA, a new brew celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory. This limited-edition beer arrives just in time for the Super Bowl parade festivities and embodies everything that makes Philly, Philly—attitude, energy, and a good dose of swagger. Trash Talk IPA is a 6.5% ABV powerhouse with big hops and an even bigger personality. This brew bursts with tropical flavors, featuring pineapple notes balanced by a clean finish.
At the heart of this new release is Yards Brewing Company’s mantra: “Made By Phila”. The beer reflects the culture, history, and relentless determination of Philly. “Trash Talk IPA is a beer made for this city, built on its determination, passion, and love for the game,” says Yards Co-Founder Tom Kehoe. “There’s no better time to drop it than now, as we celebrate the Birds’ return to the top. This beer was made for moments like this—when Philly shows the world what we’re all about.”
To celebrate the Eagles’ Super Bowl win, Trash Talk IPA will be available in limited quantities starting Thursday, February 13th, at the Yards Brewing Company taproom located at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. With only 100 cases available, fans can purchase four-packs of 12 oz. cans for $8.99. The beer will go on sale when the taproom opens at 11:30 AM on Thursday, with 10 cases set aside for Friday’s Super Bowl Parade After Party and Happy Hour from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Friday’s celebration will feature parade-goers enjoying specials such as $6 select 20-ounce beers, $8 cocktails and wine, and bites like Philly Wing Pounders, cheesesteak egg rolls, and Bricklayer’s Nachos.
