The Tiny Room for Elephants Festival Weekend fuses art and music, showcasing the artwork of local artists.
A vibrant and growing creative community is on display at Cherry Street Pier during Tiny Room For Elephants Festival Weekend. Through the weekend, Tiny Room for Elephants will be celebrating the artwork created by 43 local artists during the past 10 days (July 8 to July 18). There will be live performances by musical artists and DJs, as well as activations such as the Redbull BC One Breakdance Competition for kids.
The goal of Tiny Room for Elephants is to create unique experiences for artists, brands, and consumers through the fusion of art and music.
“These four festival days are going to be jammed packed with art, music, dancing, and one-of-a-kind activations. We have a lot of surprises in store this year that you won’t want to miss.” – YaYa Horne, Co-Founder of TRFE.
The theme of this year’s festival is “made with love and inspired by grit”, which is Tiny Room for Elephants’ ethos. In order to convey that message, they have partnered with Visit Philadelphia’s Love + Grit, a podcast that tells authentic and diverse stories of the city. Among the other sponsors for this year’s festival are Tito’s, FOX29, and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation.
Tiny Room for Elephants Premiere Night and certain activations require tickets, but most of the festival is free.
