Philly’s Made in America 2021 adds a list of talent for its TIDAL Stage
At the top of the spring, dosage MAGAZINE and I dropped very early news on readers, with the announcement of the thankfully-live-and-in-person Made in America festival in Philly, 2021. The City of Brotherly Love’s staple of Labor Day Weekend for the last decade, the Jay-Z curated two-day event in the Art Museum area, September 4 and 5, produced by Roc Nation, with this year’s festival benefitting the ACLU of Pennsylvania as its official charity partner with a portion of MIA’s net proceeds supporting The REFORM Alliance got its headliners early in Justin Bieber and Lil Baby. No word, as yet, as to who will headline each day.
Plus, organizations such as HeadCount, Black Voters Matter, ACCT Philly Animal Welfare, United in Community and more are all part of the Jay-Z focused Cause Village.
Added to the top of the bill on down was hit makers Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Roddy Ricch, Kehlani, Young Thug, Bobby Shmurda, Baby Keem, Lil Durk, A$AP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Griselda, Freddie Gibbs, Tinashe, Morray, Coi Leray, Latto, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Pi’erre Bourne, and 26ar. Each and every one of them are worth getting into the Made in America gates early for.
As of noon, on August 5, the curators and bookers of Made In America’s TIDAL Stage have just filled up the space with the inclusion of Bia, Fousheé, Kaash Paige, Cazzu, Mozzy, Duke Deuce, Mariah The Scientist, Capella Grey, Maeta, Destin Conrad and 26AR.
The TIDAL stage in accordance with Jay-Z’s steamer of the same name is his baby, so these up and comers are crucial.
More to follow.
