On Friday, March 24th, Morris Animal Refuge is excited to host its 26th Annual Fur Ball Gala to help support stray animals throughout Greater Philadelphia while also showcasing an extravagant silent auction with various items up for grabs.
Immerse yourself in a splendid night of dancing and entertainment at the luxurious Memorial Hall of The Franklin Institute, emceed by Steve Morrison of WMMR’s Preston and Steve and the turntable stylings of DJ Perry Angelozzi. Enjoy delectable cuisine, an open bar stocked with signature cocktails, as well as some sweet furry friends from local shelters featured at the giant Heart Exhibit, all in honor of a great cause.
The evening’s events include a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, ARM & HAMMER’s Fund The Mission live-auction style event, and more.
Tickets for the 26th annual Fur Ball start at $185 per person. There is a VIP ticket for $215 that offers an additional hour of festivities. Donations will assist the abandoned, homeless, and neglected pets in Philly with proceeds used to finance essential initiatives like the Lifesaver Fund, Fostering Program, and Adoption Program.
“The Fur Ball is our largest fundraiser of the year. The funds we raise are critical for our ability to help find forever homes for our animals. Last year, proceeds from the Fur Ball helped us adopt out over 1000 animals and maintain a 97% save rate – and we are looking to save even more lives in 2023!” – Lewis Checchia, Executive Director of Morris Animal Refuge.
