Philadelphia’s Aimee Olexy, owner of Talula’s Garden will participate in the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America 2021 culinary series.
Pandemic recovery efforts aside, the restaurant business isn’t out of the woods yet. However, everyone loves a comback and the eatery industry is staged for a great one. Efforts like the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America culinary series bring the focus, support and celebration to independent restaurants. Taste America, presented by Capital One, consists of a ten-city, in-person dining, tour that kicks off on Wednesday, June 23, in Philadelphia at Talula’s Garden.
The owner of and two chefs from Talula’s Garden will curate a three-course dining experience for ticket-holding diners: Aimee Olexy, owner of Talula’s Garden, Executive Chef Charles Parker, and Pastry Chef Jacquelyn Palillero. The menu, plus beverage pairings, includes:

Paired tickets can be purchased HERE for $300 a set. Single tickets are not available. 65% of all tickets sold will go directly to Talula’s Garden while 35% of proceeds will support the James Beard Foundation’s national programming, including the Open for Good campaign.
