Kimpton Hotel Monaco’s 11th-floor Stratus Rooftop Lounge is hosting its second annual Sunset Soirée on Friday, September 20, starting at 6:30 P.M. Stratus invites locals and visitors to embrace the last warm breezes of the season in an atmosphere that blends sophistication with playful charm surrounded by the hyper-seasonal end of summer décor.
Guests can look forward to live music with the soulful sounds of Philadelphia-based R&B band Suede Lace performing from 6:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. on the patio, followed by DJ Capps.
There will also be DIY wine glass decorating in one of the lounge’s two adjacent pavilions. A guided Sip & Paint session will start at 7:00 P.M. in the second pavilion. For those seeking friendly competition, lawn games like Corn Hole and Giant Jenga will add classic fun to the evening.
No soirée is complete without delectable food and drinks like complimentary summer-centric small bites that capture the flavors of the season. Craft cocktails, wine, and beer will be available à la carte.
An optional two-hour open bar package for $30 per person includes cocktails featuring Rémy Martin.
