CO-OP Restaurant & Bar launches Sips & Scrubs, the not-your-typical, third-shift happy hour crafted specifically for medical professionals.
This is a pretty novel idea and I’m surprised that this hasn’t been done before. Perhaps it has, but kudos to CO-OP for launching the Sips & Scrubs third shift happy hour. From 7 am to 9 am, Monday through Friday, medical professionals can start their day or end their shift with an elevated mid-Atlantic cuisine at CO-OP Restaurant & Bar, which is located on the corner of 33rd and Market Street, between the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University at The Study Hotel.
If you’re in the medical field and possess a valid medical ID, you can enjoy $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys, plus ten percent off all food on weekday mornings. Hungry after pulling an all-nighter of saving lives and improving the lives of your fellow humans? Sips & Scrubs also serves breakfast that includes Pastry Baskey’s pastries, and House Made Buttermilk Biscuits with honey-butter and jam. Breakfast entrees include the Smoked Salmon Platter, the Lancaster Omelet and the Breakfast Sandwich.
It’s worth noting that CO-OP is also now offering weekend brunch services on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 2 pm, with a list of delectables that celebrate the local cultures of the expanded Philly region.
Enjoy.
