Ram Trucks unveils its new BEV concept pickup, the Ram 1500 Revolution on a mission to disrupt and redefine the segment.
The world of electric vehicles (EVs) is steadily approaching. The days of the humdrum EV with basic looks, performance, and enough battery life to squall range anxiety are numbered. Society isn’t quite ready to ditch the fossil-burning machines, but the manufacturers are banking on an EV revolution, with one manufacturer so bold as to name their concept Revolution. Enter, the Ram 1500 Revolution Battery-electric (BEV) concept.
The 1500 Revolution is so revolutionary, it wasn’t introduced during one of the primary north American auto shows. Rather, it was introduced during the premier global technology show, the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in grand Ram style.
One look at the Ram 1500 Revolution concept and you will instantly see it is unlike any other vehicle with its bold futuristic chiseled styling with an hour-glass body design and fender wells that clear 35-inch tires with a new unique design along with reimagined doors opening to a grand saloon style showcasing a massive interior space without a B-pillar. The all-new interior offers flexibility with room to configure a workspace with a removable center console with a fold-flat surface for those laptop users on the go.
The visual and sensory excitement continues with an animated modernized “R-A-M” badge complementing the all-new face of Ram featuring a fully animated LED “tuning fork” design. Bright LED lights have been smartly integrated into the front bumper flares and advancements in lighting are highlighted by fully animated LED tail lamps and badging.
Ram boasts the 1500 Revolution BEV Concept can add up to 100 miles of range in approximately as little as 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW.
