The name “Huli Huli” means “turn turn” in Hawaiian and refers to the method of cooking chicken over an open flame, constantly turning it. The new Poi Dog Huli Huli sauce embraces the flavors of sweet pineapple, savory miso, and fragrant Chinese five-spice and can be used to baste chicken, burgers, vegetables, mushrooms, and other “grillables”, adding a delicious sweet and savory taste.
