Philly Bierfest 2024 is a deep dive into Pennsylvania’s brewing history, showcasing over 50 German-style beers from 25 Pennsylvania craft brewers. Attendees will have the chance to sip on a variety of lagers, weizens, kölsches, and doppelbocks, reflecting the depth of German brewing influence in Pennsylvania. The event will also feature a selection of imported beers directly from Germany, including zero-proof and low-alcohol options, catering to all preferences.
A highlight of the festival is the German Beer Ambassador Award, which this year honors Carol Stoudt, America’s first female brewmaster and a pioneer in craft brewing in Pennsylvania. Her legacy, along with the contributions of other trailblazing women in the industry, will be celebrated through various activities, including a “PA Women Brewers Panel.”
