City Winery, the ultimate destination for wine enthusiasts, has introduced an elevated dining experience called “Pairing is Sharing,” highlighting the essence of their winemaking. This innovative menu offers delectable small plates paired with City Winery wines, allowing customers to embark on a self-guided culinary journey.
Founder and CEO of City Winery, Michael Dorf, emphasizes the intimacy of sharing a great meal and wine with friends. He states, “This menu concept brings people together for a fun and interactive experience.”
The menu features City Winery’s renowned wines on tap, including Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and a Bourbon Barrel Red Blend. Each wine has suggested pairings with dishes inspired by Plants, Sea, and Land. Additionally, a rotating selection of charcuterie and oysters complements the offerings. Some standout combinations include the ‘Fun-guy Flatbread’ with foraged mushrooms, fresh ricotta, and pesto paired with Pinot Noir, Charred Octopus with romesco, frisée, and crispy garlic paired with City Bubbles Cava, and CW Wagyu Sliders with cabernet-onion jam, triple cream brie, arugula, and champagne vinaigrette paired with Cabernet Sauvignon. The dishes will be promptly served to the table as prepared, enhancing the interactive experience.
City Winery’s award-winning wines are crafted using meticulously sourced grapes from esteemed vineyards in California, Oregon, and New York. The wines are served on tap, directly from stainless steel kegs, eliminating the need for bottles, corks, or metal seals. City Winery takes sustainability seriously, as their main wine production facility in New York City utilizes a restored hydroelectric dam to generate 100% of the on-premise electricity.
The “Pairing is Sharing” dining experience is now available at City Winery locations in Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Atlanta, and Boston.
