Bluebird Distilling and Jetty Rock collab for their Breakwater Bourbon launch at On the Rocks.
Get ready for On the Rocks, an immersive experience on Sunday, November 12, from 1 pm to 6 pm at Bluebird’s Phoenixville distillery. Where guests can indulge in Bourbon, oysters, and the coastal lifestyle, the On the Rocks celebration marks the release of Bluebird Distilling and Jetty’s latest creation, Breakwater Bourbon, a spirit that not only captivates the palate but also contributes to a noble cause with 10% of sales proceeds going directly to The Jetty Rock Foundation.
The event promises an enticing array of offerings. Guests can relish pay-as-you-go delights from the raw bar, showcasing Jetty Life’s oyster partner, Barnegat Oyster Collective. Freshly shucked, raw oysters are available at $3 each ($15/half-dozen), while roasted oysters with brown butter are a tempting option at $5 each. Complimentary tastings of Breakwater Bourbon will be served throughout the day, along with pay-as-you-go drams of the spirit and special seaside-inspired cocktails.
Bluebird Distilling will be donating 10% of the proceeds from the sale of Breakwater Bourbon and cocktails to The Jetty Rock Foundation. Additionally, Jetty Life will be bringing their Jetty Box Truck Mobile Store, which will feature a collection of surf-inspired clothing for men, women, and children. The store will feature a selection of Bluebird Distilling x Jetty Life Breakwater Bourbon t-shirts, flannels, jackets, and more, all of which are crafted with a shared commitment to quality and eco-conscious practices.
Breakwater Bourbon is a unique spirit aged 5 to 7 years in American Oak and Amburana barrels. It has a lightly smoked profile with notes of sweet cherry, vanilla, baking spice, candied ginger, soft corn, and toffee.
