The Old City Eats Block Party is back, marking the start of summer with an explosion of flavors and festivities. Sponsored by Bacardi, the event will take place on Thursday, June 20th, from 5 pm to 9 pm. It will transform 2nd Street between Market and Chestnut Streets into a vibrant hub of culinary charm with discounted food, drinks, entertainment, and more, all from the top restaurants, bars, and eateries of Old City.
The Old City Eats Block Party is free to attend, with food and beverages available for purchase from participating vendors. This year’s lineup boasts an impressive array of culinary styles, ensuring that every palate will find something to savor. The event features specialties from local favorites such as Amada, Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, and Khyber Pass Pub, alongside newcomers like Mei Mei and Malooga.
Participating venues include 48 Record Bar, a chic spot known for its eclectic vinyl collection and specialty cocktails; Amada, Chef Garces’ iconic Spanish cuisine and tapas restaurant; and Khyber Pass Pub, offering Southern, Cajun, and Creole dishes with a superb bar program. Other highlights include Kick Axe Throwing Philadelphia, a full-service bar and restaurant with axe-throwing; Las Bugambilias, a vibrant Mexican restaurant; and Royal Boucherie, a lively French-inspired brasserie.
