Pentimenti Gallery opens to Beauty We Forge, a collaborative exhibition by artists Natalie Kuenzi and Emmanuela Soria Ruiz, from January 17 to March 8, 2025.

Beauty We Forge showcases both artists’ ability to transform their inspirations into captivating works. While Kuenzi draws upon the resilience of nature to challenge artistic traditions, Soria Ruiz layers mythological and feminist narratives into intricate visual stories. Together, their works reflect the ever-evolving relationship between humans and their surroundings, blending abstraction, narrative, and materiality.

Kuenzi earned her BFA from Western Colorado University and her MFA from Temple University. Her work has graced galleries across the U.S., including Temple Contemporary in Philadelphia, The Delaware Contemporary in Wilmington, and Baltimore Clayworks in Maryland. Her numerous accolades include the Brian Hirsh Ceramic Artist Award.

With a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania, Soria Ruiz has exhibited internationally, including at F2 Gallery in Madrid, the Cervantes Institute in Marrakech, and Oregon Contemporary Art Center in Portland.
