Favorite restaurant in Philly? It was Dmitri’s on 2nd Street.
Best place to shop in Philly (food, clothes, gifts, jewelry, etc). Select one? The Reading Terminal is the best place to shop and people watch.
What is your one favorite “best kept secret” about Philly? Something that you and only a few others know about but everyone should… When following Delancey Street from the Delaware River to the Schuykill River, watching the cobblestones as you pass, one can meditate and recall all of the best memories from childhood. And feel what it is like to be truly Philadelphian.

What makes Philly your Philly? Philly is my Philly because I was able to live, love, breathe and eat as an Artist for decades. And experience true family in a community comprised of dancers, musicians, designers, painters, writers, sculptors, directors, students, singers… The list is infinite. These Philadelphians are still my family, where ever I am on this globe.
What do you absolutely love about the city? What I love most about the city? My family of origin settled in West Philly over 150 years ago from Russia. Exiled and lost. They struggled through the depression. World War II. All the wars thereafter. My dad hosted a big band cabaret on Camac Street in the 1940s. Where he met my mom who had a ballet Studio at 12th and Walnut Street. I have Philly roots. I don’t live there now but I will return. Certainly, I will return.
