Rapper Lil Uzi goes non-binary with new pronouns, and releases new music.
Lil Uzi Vert is a lot of things. A rapper and producer. A proud Philadelphian. An ATV rider. A fashion icon.
As of July 19, it was made official that Lil Uzi Vert’s pronouns are now they/them, as goes the adjustment made to their Instagram bio to include said pronouns.
That is just one of the more recent events in Uzi Vert’s life, one busy with deluxe version appearances on Justin Bieber’s Justice album (“There She Go,” a follow-up to Uzi’s Bieb’s collab, 2021’s “Demon High”). Uzi hooked up with Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane, respectively, on “Next Up” and with Nigo on “Heavy” earlier in 2022.
Then, there are the two fresh tracks that Lil Uzi Vert dropped on SoundCloud right before the they/them pronouns announcement: “I Know” and “Space Cadet”.
All of this comes in hot anticipation of more, even never Vert music when they release the “Red & White” EP, one like, “I Know,” is produced by friend and collaborator Sonny Digital, and is their first project since Pluto x Baby Pluto with Future.
