Born and raised or imported to Philly? I’m a proud Philadelphian. Born and raised in the University City area, where I still reside. I am a proud graduate of Philadelphia Public Schools matriculating through Albert M. Greenfield Elementary School and Central High School, Class of 251!
Favorite restaurant in Philly? There are so many restaurants in Philly that I like, that it’s hard to narrow it down to one. Philly has so many great places to eat for a foodie like me! I would have to say my favorite restaurant is Zahav. The Turkish Hummus and the lamb are to die for!

Best place to shop in Philly (food, clothes, gifts, jewelry, etc). Select one? I’m a shopper, so anywhere there is good shopping, I’m here for it! Reading Terminal is probably the best place to shop for foods. There are so many offerings for fresh and cooked foods, fruits, vegetables and other kinds of goodies. The Philadelphia Premium Outlets is my favorite local spot to shop for clothes, shoes, and accessories.
What is your one favorite “best kept secret” about Philly? Something that you and only a few others know about but everyone should… Restaurants in the Cedar Park Area are one of Philly’s best kept secrets! Booker’s and 48th Street Grille are among the best! They are both black-owned and have great food and service!
What makes Philly your Philly? Philly is the place where my foundation was laid. Where I met the love of my life. And where I began my career! Philly is a melting pot of beautiful people! I am always proud to rep my city!
