Born and raised or imported to Philly? I was imported, although I grew up right over the bridge from Philly in South Jersey and relocated outside of the city after graduating from college.
Favorite restaurant in Philly? This is hard! I love too many and it truly depends on what mood I’m in. I love Zahav, Mei Mei, Tequilas and so many more. There are truly so many restaurants and hidden gems in and around the Philly area.
What is your connection/relationship to Philly? As I shared I grew up in Jersey outside of the city and always loved and appreciated when I got to go into the city. As an adult, living right outside, I take every opportunity I can get to attend an event or show, try a new restaurant/bar, etc. Becoming a Philadelphia-area lifestyle creator has helped me connect with so many individuals in the area and allows me to check out so many of the new restaurants, shops, and happenings in Philly which has been a dream come true.

Best place to shop in Philly? I’m shopping for food the most so I love the Reading Terminal because you have so many unique, different food and beverage options in one spot. I love the Primark and TJ Maxx in the Fashion district since I’m always looking for a good bargain and they always have a good selection. I’d actually love to start checking out more Philly boutiques and fashion shops.
What is your one favorite “best kept secret” about Philly? Something that you and only a few others know about but everyone should… I don’t know if it’s a “secret” per se but I’ve learned many of the best areas to go for parking based on what location I’m heading to, the majority being free or low in cost. One is near Penn’s Landing area, across from the Cavanaugh’s River Deck, you can park for free along and around the corner of that brick wall with the American flag on it. So this is nice if I’m heading to Penns Landing or South street and don’t mind the walk. Another cool “secret” I just discovered is that LMNO restaurant has a hidden speakeasy/listening room that you can access by being led through one of the bathrooms. You have to book a reservation in advance, but it’s very unique and intimate. It’s “Philadelphia’s first multi-channel, high-fidelity sound system that is open to the public” and you’re not allowed to record or take photos while inside.
What makes Philly your Philly? The food, the sports, and the amazingly dope creative entrepreneurs. There is so much about the city that I absolutely love! I will always love the thrill and excitement at Philly sports games that definitely doesn’t exist in all cities. But the food is also delicious. I always say if you don’t agree then you probably haven’t been to the right spots.
