Artist Kai unveils a fresh spin on age-old wisdom with the Just Evil limited sculpture series.
Kai, an international sensation, is renowned for his single-frame storytelling and signature blend of cement in art. A few years back, he introduced the “Just Evil” concept, reimagining the age-old proverb “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”. This theme, previously manifested in murals and two-dimensional paintings, now graces the world in the form of mini-sculptures.
Kai’s journey as an artist started on the streets of LA, where he created his famous character “IF” (Imaginary Friend). This character is not bound by race, color, or gender and uniquely communicates profound concepts. Kai’s artwork has been featured in various cities such as Atlanta, New York, and Amsterdam and events like Miami Art Basel and ComplexCon. His collections, including Kai-Just Evil, have been showcased in multiple venues, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
Kai is dropping 8-inch cement sculptures for the first time to make his craftsmanship more accessible to long-time fans and new admirers alike. With a whopping 750-plus person waitlist for his life- and oversized sculptures, this latest drop is a golden opportunity for collectors.
The “Just Evil” release includes three different versions. The green variant is limited to only 99 pieces, each measuring 8x19x4.5 inches. It is made of a mixture of cement and polyamide and costs $2,950. The rhodium variant is even more exclusive, limited to only 26 pieces. It is made of a combination of cement, metal, and rhodium and is priced at $3,950. Finally, the most high-end gold variant has only 18 pieces. It is a fusion of cement, metal, and gold with a price tag of $4,950.
For those eager to own a piece of Kai’s genius, mark your calendars. These sculptures will be up for sale on Tuesday, October 17 at 1 p.m. ET, with exclusive early access for Kai’s NFT community.
