John Legend – Get Lifted Anniversary Tour

Multi-platinum, 13-time Grammy Award-winning artist and University of Penn graduate John Legend has announced his “Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour,” commemorating two decades since the release of his debut album, “Get Lifted.” Legend will perform at more than 40 venues across the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America, with a highly anticipated stop in his adopted city, at The Met Philadelphia presented by Highmark on November 5, 2025.

Released on December 28, 2004—Legend’s 26th birthday—”Get Lifted” marked his arrival as a musical force. The album, known for its smooth blend of neo-soul, R&B, and hip-hop elements, propelled John Legend to superstardom, earning eight Grammy nominations and winning three major categories: Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for the timeless hit “Ordinary People,” Best R&B Album, and Best New Artist.

Accompanied by his full band, John Legend will bring the complete “Get Lifted” tracklist to life on stage, along with additional fan favorites spanning his expansive career. Concertgoers will experience fresh renditions of classics including “Used to Love U,” “Number One,” and “So High,” showcasing the emotive storytelling and soulful melodies that have defined Legend’s artistry.

John Legend Celebrates with Special Deluxe Editions and Star Collaborations

In tandem with the anniversary tour announcement, John Legend released the “Get Lifted (20th Anniversary)” Digital Deluxe and Deluxe 3LP Vinyl editions, now available. This release includes 11 bonus tracks, featuring eight brand-new remixes and two previously unreleased studio sessions from the original “Get Lifted” recordings. Special guest appearances from Tems, Killer Mike, Lil Wayne, Simi, and Black Thought amplify the collection.

John Legend continues the celebration tonight on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he’ll serve as both talk and musical guest. Legend is set to perform “Used to Love U” alongside Philadelphia’s own Black Thought, backed by The Roots.

Tickets for the “John Legend Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour” go on presale on Wednesday, March 26, with general public tickets available from Friday, March 28.
