The 2024 InLiquid Benefit marks a significant milestone as InLiquid kicks off its 25th Anniversary Celebration as a pivotal institution dedicated to promoting visual arts in Philadelphia. This annual fundraiser is an event and a grand showcase of contemporary art, design, and craft, featuring a silent auction and a series of gatherings designed to bring art lovers and supporters together. The Benefit shows InLiquid’s enduring commitment to making the work of Philadelphia’s vibrant artist community accessible while celebrating the business and restaurant supporters who play a crucial role in this endeavor.
Founded in 1999 by a visionary leader, InLiquid has grown into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that champions economic viability for artists and fosters public appreciation for the arts. Through free public exhibitions, InLiquid.org, and the annual Benefit Art Auction, InLiquid creates opportunities for artists, unites communities, and advocates for art as a catalyst for social change.
The Benefit spans two weeks, offering attendees multiple in-person viewing opportunities to curate their experience. Each event is planned to highlight different aspects of artistry and creativity, from fashion design to culinary explorations, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.
The Benefit Design Showcase, a free event scheduled for Saturday, March 16, from Noon to 3:30 p.m., is a vibrant vendor market featuring local independent designers such as Iris Barbee Bonner-Pendergrass of THESEPINKLIPS, NINObrand, Patrick Michael Accessories, Prajjé Oscar, and Asim De. This event seamlessly blends the innovation of our region’s designers with a diverse selection of fine contemporary art, offering guests a unique opportunity to appreciate and support local talent.
InLiquid’s Benefit 2024 also includes culinary experiences, such as the Sip & Sample event on Wednesday, March 20, where whiskey enthusiasts can indulge in a rye tasting courtesy of Dad’s Hat Rye Whiskey, paired with a salon-style exhibition of auction works. The Sushi Sip & Snack on Thursday, March 21, promises an interactive experience with Chef Kevin Yanaga, the renowned “sushi whisperer”, who will be preparing handrolls for guests, teasing the flavors of his upcoming restaurant, Yanaga Kappo Izakaya.
The climax of the Benefit, set for Saturday, March 23, from 6 to 10 p.m., is the Main Event of the Benefit Auction. Guests can enjoy light fare from Fiore Fine Foods and sips from Revivalist Gin while engaging in the thrill of final bidding. This evening is about securing beautiful artworks, connecting with the artists, enjoying the art, and contributing to the local arts community.
The 2024 InLiquid Benefit blends the personal touch of past community parties with the momentum of our Events Series model. This approach aims to engage an audience of collectors, curators, designers, press, influencers, and entrepreneurs, maximizing exposure for the artists and garnering support for InLiquid’s mission. With a multimedia distribution strategy, the Benefit collection will reach a broad audience, offering extensive marketing opportunities for business and restaurant supporters involved in the event.
Celebrating 25 years of InLiquid’s impact on the Philadelphia arts scene, the 2024 InLiquid Benefit is a beacon of community, creativity, and collaboration.
Happy anniversary InLiquid. Here’s to 25 more.
