The Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia threw a party to celebrate its 25th anniversary at its 11th and Market Street location.
This week, hundreds of guests gathered at Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia to celebrate the restaurant’s 25th anniversary. The iconic location on Market Street played host to a private performance by Boyz II Men, in commemoration of the landmark occasion.
City Representative Sheila Hess was in attendance to present the restaurant with a proclamation from Mayor Kenney, recognizing Hard Rock Cafe’s contributions to Philly’s dining and hospitality scene on East Market Street. Leadership from Hard Rock was also present, including Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing Elena Alvarez, Senior Vice President of Cafe Division Anibal Fernandez, and Vice President of Memorabilia and Design Giovanni Taliaferro.
Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia first opened its doors on January 15, 1998, and has since become a staple landmark east of Broad Street, attracting both locals and tourists alike. Over the past 25 years, the restaurant has established itself as a key community partner, supporting non-profit organizations, local artists, and more throughout the city.
The event began at 6 PM, with guests mingling, enjoying food and music, and exploring exciting new music memorabilia. At 7 PM, VIP guests had the opportunity to meet and greet Boyz II Men. Afterward, Hess presented the mayoral proclamation, highlighting the continued significance of Hard Rock Cafe’s role in the city of Philadelphia.
