Launching on Saturday, November 30, Little Walter’s Golonka Dinner is a meal that serves as a celebration of Polish culture and tradition, crafted by Chef/Owner Michael Brenfleck for families and friends to enjoy together. With a family-style tasting menu that can accommodate up to six guests, Brenfleck showcases the beloved dish of Golonka—succulent pork shank served over a bed of tender cabbage.
The experience starts with a refreshing touch, featuring six cans of Żubr, a national Polish lager, perfectly complemented by a bottle of vodka paired with mixers. You’ll have the chance to indulge in the restaurant’s signature table-side Piłkarz pickle martini. This immersive approach extends through the meal, with house-made rye bread served alongside smalec and dill butter.
As the feast unfolds, you will enjoy an array of seasonal salads and small plates known as Surówka. The pierogi—a beloved staple—arrives in three enticing varieties, offering a taste of familiarity and comfort. But the main event, the Golonka, takes center stage. This platter embodies the traditional flavors of Polish festivities, accompanied by bigos (hunter’s stew), roasted potatoes, kielbasa, gołąbki (stuffed cabbage), and chicken cutlet.
To round out the experience, the Golonka Dinner concludes with a seasonal dessert, capping off an evening filled with savory delights and memories in the making. Priced at $500 per party, covering all food, beverages, tax, and gratuity, Little Walter’s Golonka Dinner
is a great value and a rare opportunity to experience authentic Polish hospitality.
