Philadelphia’s Morris Animal Refuge invites animal lovers and supporters to gather for a glamorous evening at their annual fundraising gala, Fur Ball 2025. This year’s event marks the 28th iteration of the tradition, celebrating more than 150 years of Morris Animal Refuge’s lifesaving dedication to homeless, abandoned, and unwanted pets in the Greater Philadelphia region. On deck for Fur Ball 2025 is a night filled with fine food, cocktails, music, dancing, and heartwarming interactions with adoptable furry friends, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum.
Fur Ball – Zooming Into the Next 150 Years of Lifesaving
Scheduled for Friday, March 28thyou are invited to dress your best and partake in an evening that includes a VIP cocktail reception from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the main event running from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. General admission tickets are available for $185 per person and include a four-hour open bar with signature cocktails courtesy of Tito’s Vodka, a specially curated beer station featuring My Local Brew Works’ popular Red Ale and Philly Phinger brews, and delectable dishes presented by 12th Street Catering.
You will also enjoy interactive entertainment, including an exciting slot car race provided by Korbel California Champagne, alongside music and dancing orchestrated by the renowned DJ Perry Angelozzi. Fur Ball 2025 is an occasion to honor those who have significantly impacted the community through animal welfare advocacy. The prestigious Elizabeth Morris Award will be presented to remarkable individuals embodying the true spirit of rescue and animal care. Additionally, the Bill Lucia Award will recognize those making substantial advancements in animal health and medical care, highlighting the ongoing dedication and compassion within the Morris Animal Refuge community.
The evening’s festivities will be guided by emcee Steve Morrison of WMMR’s popular Preston and Steve show.
