Since opening its doors in 2019, Forsythia has captivated patrons with its contemporary French cuisine crafted by the masterful Chef Christopher Kearse. The restaurant’s bright and airy ambiance, reminiscent of intimate European cafes with a modern twist, provides the ideal backdrop for a memorable dining experience.
To mark this significant milestone, Forsythia is set to launch a special five-course prix fixe menu on Thursday, Aug. 22. Priced at $95 per person, this exclusive menu will feature top dishes from the past five years, allowing guests to savor the restaurant’s culinary journey. For an enhanced experience, a curated wine pairing is available for an additional $65.
The anniversary menu showcases signature dishes from each year of the restaurant’s lifeline:
- 2019: Indulge in the tantalizing flavors of yellow corn vichyssoise with blue crab, brown butter lemon crémeux, and puffed grains.
- 2020: Delight your palate with Wagyu beef carpaccio, charred broccoli, malt-molasses dressing, and broccoli stem remoulade.
- 2021: Experience the exquisite flavors of oven-roasted dorade served with beech mushrooms, Fresno chili, and uni-champagne.
- 2022: Treat yourself to the rich and savory rabbit blanquette, complemented by fairytale eggplant, hazelnuts, cherries, and foie gras jus.
