On Saturday, September 9th, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the 1700 block of N. Front Street in Fishtown, just outside their taproom at 1727 N. Front Street, will transform into a haven of nostalgia. And the best part? It’s free and family-friendly, so gather your crew, including your furry friends, and join the fun.
Evil Genius Beer Co. began its journey in 2011 when two best friends, Trevor Hayward and Luke Bowen, decided to turn their passion for great beer and unforgettable memories into a business. Known for their clever beer names inspired by fan-favorite movie quotes, memes, and timeless song lyrics, Evil Genius quickly made a name for itself. Their slogan, “Very Silly Names For Very Serious Beers,” perfectly captures their spirit.
Over the last twelve years, Evil Genius Beer Company has become a household name in Philadelphia and beyond. Their beers now grace fridges in ten states across the Northeast and Midwest. But what truly sets Evil Genius apart is their dedication to evoking positive memories with every sip.

The Nostalgia Fest Block Party promises a day packed with retro-themed delights. Amelie’s Bark Shop will be on-site in their VW van for dog lovers, offering fresh homemade dog treats and toys. New & Wesley Images will also showcase unique vintage photograph prints.
Throughout the day, enjoy the rocking tunes of The Lenahan Band, a local rock trio performing 90s hits from 2 pm to 5 pm. And take advantage of the chance to get your face painted for free, courtesy of IFacepaint215.
Feeling hungry? Philly’s Finest Sambonis, the Samboni Boys, will serve mouthwatering sandwiches to keep you fueled for all the festivities. Of course, Evil Genius will be right there, too, manning their outdoor bar and serving up their exceptional brews.
