Fashion, culture, and community empowerment converge in the latest collaboration between DreamWorld Bakes and The ECO Foundation with the release of the DreamWorld Bakes T-Shirts—a limited-edition drop that fuses nostalgic Black media with a charitable cause. Available for pre-order now through March 8, this exclusive t-shirt celebrates JET Magazine, the iconic publication that chronicled Black culture, news, and entertainment for generations. Designed by Laura Kao, the shirt features one of DreamWorld Bakes’ signature cake creations and embodies a bold, vintage aesthetic that pays homage to a magazine that once captured the essence of Black culture.

Fifty percent of proceeds from the sales of the DreamWorld Bakes T-Shirts will be donated to The ECO Foundation, supporting their Young BUL initiative. The ECO Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing creative education, healthy food, and employment opportunities, operates with the belief that every individual possesses inherent worth and the power to enact meaningful change. The Young BUL (Bold Unstoppable Leader) program is a paid internship program designed to engage and educate teens aged 13 through 18 with hands-on community service, teaching the value of leadership, responsibility, and social impact.

Ashley Huston, founder and creative force behind DreamWorld Bakes, has built a name not only for her artistic and gravity-defying cakes but also for her dedication to uplifting the community. Huston has a long-standing history of giving back, collaborating with organizations like West Philadelphia Bunny Hop, MANNA, and the Sisterly Love Collective. With the DreamWorld Bakes T-Shirts drop, she continues her commitment to making a tangible impact through her platform.

“We are so thrilled about this limited-edition shirt stylized to resemble and highlight the ever-iconic Black brand and publication, JET Magazine—a staple found on coffee tables and the backs of toilet seats throughout all of my childhood,” said Huston. “We celebrate Black history every day over here—but as we enjoy how far we’ve come, it’s good to acknowledge the road ahead.”

The $35.00 DreamWorld Bakes T-shirts are available for pre-order now, offered in sizes Small through 3X.
