Philadelphia’s baking scene is about to get even sweeter as DreamWorld Bakes unveils its first brick-and-mortar location on January 2, 2025, at 2400 Coral Street. Founded by self-taught baker Ashley Huston DreamWorld Bakes has evolved from a pandemic-born side hustle to one of the city’s most talked-about micro-bakeries. Now, after months of recipe-testing, community pop-ups, and late-night baking marathons, the DreamWorld Bakes café is ready to welcome you with open arms (and open ovens).
The grand opening kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 2, at 8 AM. The first 100 guests receive complimentary Baby Spice Cake Bites which layers cardamom cake, passionfruit curd, mango-chai mousse, and tonka bean Italian meringue buttercream. Also on the menu? Persimmon Rolls, Olive Oil Brownies, mushroom quiche, and sausage, Mornay sauce, caramelized onions, with soft-scrambled eggs loaded Breakfast Bun.
