Occupation: Artist, Merchandiser, Marketer.
Born and raised or imported to Philly? Born in Princeton, New Jersey. Raised in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
What is your connection/relationship to Philly? After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, I made the intentional decision to stay and continue to explore Philadelphia and all its offerings! The city’s educational opportunities, the arts community, and the cultural backdrop of Philadelphia make for a perfect living experience.
Favorite restaurant in Philly? Noord is an all-time favorite neighborhood bistro nestled in the heart of East Passyunk. Featuring Northern European inspired, Contemporary American cuisine with an intimate ambiance, and a distinctive menu that is an absolute delight!
Best place to shop in Philly (food, clothes, gifts, jewelry, etc). Select one? Mesh Vintage is a charming, and eccentric clothing shop that satisfies any need for cutting-edge vintage finds. And only a few blocks away is Bok another great place you can buy from a community of local craftsmen, artists, and small businesses. Both are exceptional options for those with an appetite for a unique character in fashion, design, and furniture purchases with all the excitement of a local buy!
What is your one favorite “best kept secret” about Philly? Something that you and only a few others know about but everyone should… The Barnes Foundation offers a handful of social and educational events centered around the arts. They host a revolving door of free talks, tours, performances, and social nightlife events. In particular, Young Professionals Night is a great way to network and socialize in a sophisticated setting.
What makes Philly your Philly? What do you absolutely love about the city? I enjoy the maneuverability of Philadelphia, you can get anywhere, do anything, and constantly find new opportunities, ideas, and people.
