What is your connection to your current city? Austin is such a vast area to explore. I’m always discovering new places to eat, relax, and make new links for friends. Growing up, I’ve been more familiar with the Hispanic community in places like Rundberg, North Lamar, north Burnet, and North Austin.
What’s your favorite restaurant? I can’t name just one! Arandis Tex Mex. Halal Bros. Tan My Vietnamese.
Best place to shop? The best place to shop for food is H-Mart and Trader Joe’s.
What is your one favorite “best kept secret” about your city? Something that you and only a few others know about but everyone should? It’s a must to know about May Field Peacock Garden. It’s free and has trails to hike through. The peacocks are docile and aren’t afraid to show their feathers.
What makes your city your city? – What do you absolutely love about it? I love that in a twenty to thirty minute drive throughout Austin, you get to experience different diversities and sights. It’s not all the same.
