Join Buddakan in celebrating the Year of the Dragon at their upcoming annual Chinese New Year Brunch.
Buddakan is preparing for its much-anticipated annual Chinese New Year Brunch, which combines exquisite dining with vibrant celebrations. Scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Year of the Dragon will be welcomed in grand style, featuring a special menu crafted for the occasion. The Buddakan Chinese New Year Brunch is a cultural immersion where food, art, and tradition merge to offer a memorable experience.
This year, the festivities are elevated with a limited-edition brunch menu, showcasing dishes that embody the essence of the holiday’s symbolic meanings, such as strength, abundance, wealth, longevity, prosperity, and good luck. To complement these culinary delights, guests will be entertained by the intriguing performance of Dragon Dancers.
The brunch special includes Berkshire Pork & Cabbage Dumplings served with a spicy black bean peanut sauce, symbolizing strength, and Yusheng, a vibrant dish of Yellowfin tuna, radish, cucumber, and pomelo dressed in dragon fruit vinaigrette, representing abundance. Wealth is depicted through Dragon’s Tail Spring Rolls, packed with pork and a blend of chilis, while Longevity Noodles with head-on prawns and dragon tongue beans wish diners a long and healthy life. The 8 Treasure Rice, a luxurious mix of sticky rice, abalone, scallops, and more, signifies prosperity, and the meal concludes with the Good Luck Dessert Amuse, featuring Dragon’s Breath Dessert Mandarins.
In addition to these specials, guests can indulge in signature Buddakan menu staples, including edamame dumplings, char siu pork buns, and Kobe beef satay, accompanied by curated cocktails and sake. The evening continues from 4 to 10 p.m., with DJ Shaun setting the mood with celebratory sounds alongside chef specials that promise to delight the palate.
