Forsythia is bringing the charm and elegance of Parisian Christmas to Philadelphia with its exclusive Bûche de Noël Dinner. Hosted on Thursday, December 12, this fine dining experience, crafted by Chef Chris Kearse, will take you on a 5-course prix fixe menu tour.
The Bûche de Noël Dinner showcases Chef Kearse’s culinary artistry with a menu that balances classic French flavors and modern sophistication. The journey begins with Scallop Crudo, enriched with black truffle, pickled squash, and pistachio, followed by a luxurious Oyster Rockefeller adorned with Kaluga Caviar and shoyu beurre blanc. The centerpiece of the meal features a succulent Stuffed Quail, filled with foie gras and accompanied by lacinato kale and a rich sauce salmis. For the main course, savor the Grilled Wagyu Ribeye Cap, complemented by trevisano radicchio, chestnut, and a decadent sauce financière.
The grand finale is Forsythia’s signature Nutella Bûche de Noël, a festive dessert of chocolate and buttercream that pays homage to the traditional French Yule log, perfectly rounding out this unforgettable holiday feast.
Forsythia is located at 233 Chestnut Street, and reservations are strongly recommended. The dining cost is $95 per person with an option to upgrade with a wine pairing for an additional $65.
