Philadelphia’s Anwar Marshall, a celebrated Jazz drummer, and noted producer, has released the much anticipated “Cold” full length album. Nestled somewhere between Jazz, Neo Soul, and Hip Hop, Anwar Marshall delivers a sound that is both extremely relatable and timeless.
Essentially, Wema is a collaboration between five musicians from around the globe creating electronic music with a significant African/Swahili influence. Both contemporary and expansive, Wema is a brilliant album.
