The Twisted Tail’s 10th Annual Whiskey Bonanza, on Thursday, September 26, from 7 pm to 10 pm, is how the Twisted Tail celebrates Bourbon Heritage Month in grand style. The event will kick off with a VIP hour starting at 6 pm, offering exclusive access to rare and hard-to-find whiskeys and one-on-one face time with distillery representatives.
As the doors open to general admission ticket holders, guests will be treated to an impressive selection of over 100 different whiskeys from various distilleries spread across The Twisted Tailโs two floors. Attendees can look forward to a delightful southern pig roast, live New Orleans-style Jazz and Blues piano music performed by Reverend Chris, and whiskey-themed activities for a night of whiskey appreciation.
Amping this year’s Whiskey Bonanza is an exciting cocktail competition featuring top Philly bartenders, who will showcase their creativity by crafting original cocktails using the available whiskeys. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste these special concoctions and vote for their favorite.
Leading up to the big event, The Twisted Tail has organized a series of free weekly happy hours every Friday for September from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, highlighting featured distilleries.
Fun fact: The Twisted Tail offers a Bourbon Club program that gives access to an extensive list of bourbons, whiskeys, ryes, and scotches offered at The Twisted Tail.
